Nationalist Movement Party Mersin MP, Dr. Levent Uysal, emphasized in his message on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the 30 August Victory Day that this victory, achieved under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms, was the Turkish nation’s struggle for existence.
Uysal highlighted that the victory of 30 August is a testament to how the Turkish nation overcame all adversities to secure its independence, and that this victory serves as one of the greatest sources of inspiration in the journey toward a Great and Strong Türkiye.
Additionally, Uysal reminded everyone of the significance of the victory with Atatürk’s words: “Great victories can only be won by great nations…” In his message, he commemorated Atatürk and his comrades, as well as the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, with mercy and expressed his gratitude to the veterans.
